PARENT TESTIMONIALS

  • We've been a part of the PFGA family since August, and we couldn't be happier. Opting for a Catholic education was a thoughtful choice rooted in our family's values, and Pope Francis Global Academy has proven to be the perfect fit. The strong moral foundation and vibrant sense of community at PFGA are perfectly aligned with our goal of nurturing our son's academic excellence as well as spiritual growth. The dedicated teachers and staff at PFGA have been instrumental, and we truly believe that our son is thriving. We strongly recommend PFGA to prospective families looking for a school that values both academic and spiritual growth.

  • We chose a Catholic education for our children because we believed they would thrive in a smaller class size that not only focuses on academics but faith, purpose and character. We also see the Catholic school as more than just a school but a Community. Teachers, faculty, staff, parents are our extended family. We love our PFGA village!

  • When our daughters were born we knew that we would be signing them up at a Catholic school when the time came. Though we live in a neighborhood with lots of quality public education choices, both Mark and I attended Catholic schools and loved our own childhood experiences. I went to school here, in the building that is now Pope Francis Global Academy.

Both of our girls started at PFGA in PK3. They are now in 4th and 6th grades respectively. In our years, the main aspect that has kept us here is the community. PFGA is the type of school where everyone knows your children’s names, people are eager to pitch in to help and life-long friendships are made. I love that our manageable class sizes make it possible to really get to know all the kids and parents. I know that everyone in our community has each others back.

Academically, we have been beyond pleased. Our students are offered daily Spanish, access to technology when appropriate, and an amazing science curriculum. Our science lab is one of a kind! I love how as a primary student they make regular visits to the lab to see Trevor the class turtle and to see how the annual 8th grade ecosystem is progressing. It really excites the kids to see what the future holds for when they are a “big” junior high student. Now that I have one in junior high, it makes me so proud to see how excited my daughter is about science. I completely atribute this to our amazing science teacher Mr. Conley.

Lastly, I want to touch on religion and the call to serve. PFGA offers students and parents the opportunity to serve the community. Through out the year there are food drives, charity events, community clean ups, etc. where the entire family can get involved. As Catholics we are called to serve and I appreciate that PFGA offers these opportunities. Not only does it feel good to help others, it is part of our religious identity. I currently serve as the school’s Parents’ Club President and encourage all families to get involved. Studies has shown, that kids perform better academically, when their parents are involved in the school. It may sound like a big commitment, but it isn’t. All of our volunteers work full time, but find a few precious hours to plan class parties, chaperone a field trip or coach a team.

Bottom line, PFGA is so much more than a school, it’s a way of life. Go Wolves!
